Neurotech Workshop: Transcranial Focused Ultrasound

Dive into the physics and algorithms behind Transcranial Focused Ultrasound (tFUS). This non-invasive neuromodulation technique allows us to target deep brain structures with sub-millimetre precision, opening new frontiers in brain-computer interfacing.

This is a hands-on technical workshop. A laptop with Python installed is mandatory for the algorithmic modelling session (Ray Tracing & Time Reversal).

02Who we are

About us

Our Story

Founded in 2024, the Imperial College Neurotech Society is the UK's first student-led society dedicated to neurotechnology.

Bringing together a multidisciplinary community of students passionate about the future of brain-computer interface (BCI) technology, we provide a platform to explore how these innovations will shape society. Our mission is to grow this community by creating opportunities for students to engage with the field through projects, events, and collaboration.

Our Culture

At Neurotech Society ICL, we foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence. We offer support to members to achieve their full potential in the field of Neurotechnology. Whether you are a first year or a PhD student, there is space for contribution here!

We encourage anyone interested in learning about the field but lost about their next steps to shoot us an email at neurotec@ic.ac.uk

Our Impact

We are dedicated to making an enduring impact to London students and to wider society through our work. From leading competitions and research, to symposium and networking events, we want to create opportunities for everyone interested in Neurotech to have a way in. We are committed to using our privileged position to create a better future for all.
